Dear Sir,
The view you have made for general appeal is really important in 21st century. In the last 25 years after independence , the values are deteriorating. I think, children are forgeting their duties to look after their parents. It is said that laws must set but i think law will bring no real relief. Do we have the courage to known about this changing social condition. I think court cannot ensure the safety to old people.
We cannot see them in such a pathetic reality. Todays children are not ready to took after their parents in their old age. But some believe that law is must to change the situation i opine without taking any legal action , parents would suffer silently. Parents never hurt their children. That is why law is not the medicine to cure the disease of children's negative attitude towards their parents.
If the children avoid their parents, they are not accountable to anyone. The children who have no hearts to look after their parents can not be worth for living peaceful life. Government run so many projects to ensure the elderly pepole that they are safe in their own country. So the government should open old age security homes for such victims of neglect. I think everyone should consider that it is our duty to look after their parents.
We can not forget that we have been grown by our lovable parents. So I consider law is not the answer to change children's mood. Everyone should know his moral duty to serve his parents. Social awareness will bring definitly an expected result.
Finally i would like to say that the self inspiration to look after the parents is greter than law.
